Would it make more sence to try get rid of the air once passed through the IC than to duct the air going into it? I remember that Nixit had a good idea on how to do it but haven't noticed anyone else following it. Coming from an energy management background and HVACR, I think it would make more sence to do what Nixit was doing. Your set up seems well planned but it looks more like you are restricting the air going into the IC and there is really nothing more than the speed of the vehicle getting that discharged air out. And the existing vents don't seem like enough. Just like in the cooling system the fan it's behind the radiator not in front. You want to release the hot air as quick as possible not compress it into the coil.
Grandma was right... It IS what's on the inside that counts!
